Exporting FormZ Models as VRML2.0 Models for Use with the NavLoader or J3DFly programs


1. Click on File, select Save As and under File Format, select VRML.


2. Set the "Save in:" Directory to where you want your file to be saved. Users of the system have write access to C:\TEMP, U:Drive, DFS Space, or the Architecture Labs Student Server (found on the Desktop).


3. Type in the name of the file and select Save. A Modeling Export Options : VRML menu will appear.


4. Make sure that under the VRML Options dialog box, you have V2.0 selected.


5. To the right of the Export Textures option, select Wrapped from the pull down menu.


6. In the Decomposition options, check Subdivide Concave Faces.


7. These changes should help make the textures and design come out properly in the NavLoader or J3DFly programs.
