Access Grid Node at Penn State - Room 140 Computer Building

The GEaRS ACCESS Grid Node allows teleconferenced participation from a University Park Location, in distributed meetings, conferences, seminars  or other forms  of working together at a distance as supported by the ACCESS Grid protocols.  Using the ACCESS Grid, voice and video teleconferencing can be combined with shared computation, visualization and/or  multimedia channels to provide a rich virtual venue for group-to-group interactions and sharing of information among remotely located participants.

Additional information on the ACCESS Grid, including a list of worldwide ACCESS Grid node locations and schedules of upcoming events, can be found at http://www.accessgrid.org/.
