The MATrix LABoratory seminar is offered every semester. The seminar will introduce
MATLAB as a useful TOOL in the area of technical computing. Technical computing may be defined
as numerical computations or scientific visualization.
MATLAB design philosophy is to have a general program and specialized toolboxes.
The general application has all the basic matrix operations. There are additional twenty-five (25) tool boxes that
can be ordered separately. Examples of some special packages include:
Control System
Neural Systems
Fuzzy Logic
Statistics
Optimization
Etc. etc. etc.
